"Parasite" is the 12th film to win the Best Picture Oscar without being nominated for any acting awards. The fictional architect of the Park mansion shares the same family name (Namgoong) with Kang-ho Song's character in one of Bong Joon-ho's other films, "Snowpiercer." Song is a regular cast member of Bong Joon-ho's films.
