Monday - Friday 9am-1pm Open to the Public
Monday - Friday 2pm-4pm Curbside Pickup
 
As a reminder, masks are required for entry.

Just for Kids Access Video provides children and parents a thoroughly kid-safe, advertisement-free media platform to freely explore and enjoy.
Just for Kids has the educational videos children want to watch -
Sesame Street, The Electric Company, The Berenstain Bears, Franklin, and 1000s more -
plus songs, games, and other interactives to entertain, educate, and inspire.

Join the Winter Reading Challenge for ages 1-17, beginning January 1.
Log your reading for school and/or pleasure while earning points.
 
Earn 25 points for reading a chapter book and 10 points for a picture book.
Reach 200 points to receive a free book pick and certificate.
Keep reading to 500 points for another free book pick!
 
Keep track of what you read with READsquared online at haywoodlibrary.readsquared.com. 
A paper log can also be picked up at either branch.
Online tracking and paper logs must be turned in no later than March 1.

Mars Mission

NASA launched Mission Mars 2020 in July.
On February 18, 2021, the Perseverance Rover and the Ingenuity helicopter are set to land on Mars. Learn more about Mars and the current mission in this virtual program. To help get you excited and ready for the landing, there will be a limited number of DIY rover and helicopter kits available beginning February 10 at the Waynesville and Canton branches.
