Learn About Oregon's CROWN Act with State Representative Janelle Bynum
Wednesday, Jan. 18 | 6:30-7:30 PM
Inspired by the expressive hairstyles in The Final Revival of Opal & Nev, we invited Rep. Bynum to speak about Oregon's newly signed CROWN Act. CROWN, which stands for "Creating a Respectful and Open World for Natural Hair," prohibits discrimination against "race-based hairstyles" in schools and workplaces.
 
It Takes Two to Tango: True Stories of Breakups, Reunions & Going Solo

Citizenship Class
Citizenship Class is back! Saturdays, Feb. 4 - Apr. 15, 4-5:30 PM, join us at the main library for free citizenship classes with Mission: Citizen. Practice for the Civics Test at your US Citizenship Interview. Classes are in English. Register in person at the first class. There is no class on Apr. 1.
