"Just because a picture book doesn't have words doesn't mean you can't read it! Wordless (or almost wordless) picture books can still help prepare children to read and are enjoyable for kids who are already reading. They get to tell the story in their own words. Knowing how stories work is a needed skill for learning to read. What better way to develop that skill than to tell your own?" -Holly, Youth Services Librarian Click here to view the full list or place a hold.
