Wow! You donated over $20,000 to Garden Home Community Library Association last fiscal year, July 2022 through June 2023!! This almost doubles each of the previous two fiscal years ($10,955 in 20-21 and $10,035 in 21-22). Our library board set a goal to inspire 40 new donors during our 40th birthday year. We met and exceeded that goal with 45 first-time donors. We so appreciate your generosity this year, and every year! Thank you!👏
Goodbyes & Hellos
This year we said goodbye to Jocelyn, a part-time library assistant since 2018, and Lyndon Beckner, a GHCLA board member since 2018. Jocelyn and Lyndon, thank you for being such great members of our team, and we're glad we still get to see you in the library! We were also thrilled to welcome Elaine Hirsch to the GHCLA board.
Out with the Old
The start of a new year is a good time to weed items that haven't been borrowed in a while. These music CDs and DVDs in our adult collections haven't circulated in one year or more. Items that haven't checked out from this list by January may get culled from GHCL's collection. Explore the list and find something new to listen to or watch.
Happy Holidays The library will be closed on Monday, December 25 and Monday, January 1. However you celebrate, we wish you good tidings and joy during this cozy season. Happy Channukah! Merry Christmas! Happy Festivus! Happy New Year! |
