A better West Slope is coming
NEWS FROM THE DIRECTOR

West Slope Library Director
Hello!

The library's transformation is underway! Every time I come into the library, I am in awe and a little surprised by how much has changed since the last time I was in.

The books and other collections have been boxed up. We are packing all the odds and ends, and spending the next week getting ready for everything to taken out to storage.

We are very excited (and maybe a little sore and tired).
When we return next year, something you’ll notice right away are the new hold lockers. These 74 lockers will offer you a low-to-no touch, self-serve option to pick up your held items. Locker sizes will vary to accommodate your needs. The screen and scanner will automatically checkout your items when you open the locker, making checkouts even easier. Another great feature will be the option to choose from multiple languages when you pick up your library holds.

The holds lockers and other equipment upgrades were purchased using Federal CARES money.

I look forward to sharing more details in our next newsletter.

Take Care,
Kristen
