NEWS FROM THE DIRECTOR

Kristen Thorp
West Slope Library Director

Greetings!

Takeout service has been going strong and we appreciate all the kind words and gratitude you've shared with us.

The number of items on request and the number of people making requests have doubled and continue to grow week by week.

In order to accommodate the increased demand we added extra takeout days at the beginning of August so we are consistently offering reservations 5 days a week. We are also working to expand our daily capacity by incrementally increasing available reservations so we can help more patrons each takeout day.

We are always striving to find a balance between health, safety, and service so we appreciate everyone's patience as our library team has divided into three separate units to work all seven days of the week in order to receive deliveries and offer takeout.

Contact us if you need help placing an item on hold or making a reservation because we would love to see you.

Take care,
Kristen

The library will be closed on Sept. 7 for Labor Day
