West Slope Library Director
Hello!

I am very excited for 2021! (Isn't everyone?)

This newsletter is packed with remodel information, so I will keep this message short. The entire West Slope Library team are wishing you, your friends, and your families a happy and healthy 2021.

Thanks for being a bright spot in 2020 and have a wonderful New Year!

Thanks,
Kristen

New Year, new look
Image of different colors. Teal, light blue, light green, and brown representing new fabric, paint, and carpet for the remodel.

We are using carpet and paint that is standard throughout County facilities.

The brown with the pattern is the carpet. It comes in squares so if one is damaged, we can replace the square quickly. No more patched carpet!

The blue and green in the center will be paint in the adult and kids' areas.

The dark teal on the left will be a textured vinyl that will be on new chairs and benches that are being built by a local vendor.

These new chairs will be at our new computer tables. They are easy to clean, slide with ease, and are comfy.

Some of the chairs will have arms and some will not. This is to support different body-types and abilities.

Vaccine information
COVID-19 vaccines are being rolled out across the country. Washington County's website answers frequently asked questions and provides information about the vaccines from reliable and trusted sources.

Included on this page is the current priority for who will receive vaccinations. County staff will update this page as more vaccines become available in Oregon.

As a reminder it is still important to wear face coverings, practice physical distancing, and have good hand washing procedures.

If you have vaccine questions, we encourage you to talk to your health care provider or email CovidVaccine@co.washington.or.us
