NEWS FROM THE DIRECTOR

West Slope Library Director
Greetings!

Thank you for all the kind words and enthusiasm for our upcoming remodel. We have enjoyed hearing your love for and personal history with our library.

The library team will be busy this month! We have loved creating thematic grab-bags of books, audiobooks, and movies for you to reserve and borrow before our temporary building closure.

We will be offering Takeout until November 22, working with you to transfer any outstanding holds to other libraries for pickup, and continuing to help you place new holds to be picked up at our neighboring libraries.

November 20 and 21 will be our last days to accept returns without a reservation until we re-open our building in February 2021.

We will be packing...everything. From collections to pens, everything will need to be boxed up and stored.

On a personal note, November also marks my one year anniversary with the West Slope Library community. What a year! I am grateful to be here and excited for what the next year will bring for our library.

Take care,
Kristen

Guess the number of boxes!

Here are the boxes we've ordered to pack up our library collection. Can you guess how many boxes we ordered?

Closest without going over will win a prize! We will announce the winner in our December newsletter.

Meet our Friends

Until further notice, we are not collecting donated books for our in- house used book sale. Contact us if you would like to pick up some bottle drop bags.
