March 2020
Community Library Supervisor
Hello West Slope community!

Whenever I meet members of our community, one of the first things everyone is excited to tell me is how much they love our library!! I never get tired of hearing about the joy that people experience when they are able to access our library services.

Our library services are enhanced by the hard work and dedication of our Friends of the Library. They volunteer their time and turn donations, used-book sale revenue, membership dues, and their annual Tulip Sale fundraiser (April 2-4) into money that directly supports the West Slope Library.

For 2020, they have given the library $15,600! All money will support purchasing materials for collections ($6,000), programming for all ages ($9,100), and professional development for our staff ($500)

We are all so grateful for our Friends!

Until next time,
Kristen
