In-N-Out Reading Challenge
Saturday: Oct. 7th - Saturday, Nov. 18th
Children's Room
Kids ages 4-12, read to receive up to three free In-N-Out burgers. Pick up a reading log in the Children's Room. 
 
Child must be present at time of receiving the award cards at the library.
 
The library thanks In-N-Out for generously sponsoring this program.
Tiny Thanksgiving Canvas
Supply pickup: Nov. 1st - 4th
Submission deadline: Saturday, Nov. 25th  
Kids 12 and younger, show us what you’re thankful for. Pick up a tiny canvas and paint strip from November 1-4.
 
Paint on your tiny canvas what you’re thankful for. Submit your tiny canvas by November 25, and we’ll add your canvas to our Wall of Gratitude. While supplies last. 
 
Korean/English Storytime
Mondays: Nov. 13th & 27th

Second Floor Bookstore
Join us for Korean/English bilingual storytime. We will read stories and sing in English and Korean. Fun for the whole family!
 
No registration is required. Caregivers must accompany children 10 years of age and younger. 
Read to a BARK Therapy Dog
Tuesday: Nov. 14th at 6:45PM
Children's Fiction Area
Kids 12 and younger, come read to our dog pals in the children's fiction area. Readers will receive a time slot with a dog on a first come, first served basis. 
 
No pre-registration is required. Caregivers must accompany children 10 years of age and younger. 
Find Stego the Stegosaurus

Help! Toto the T. rex has lost his pal Stego the Stegosaurus! Can you help Toto find Stego? Stop by the Children's Desk to pick up a clue sheet, solve the clue, find Stego, and take home a miniature dino chicken nugget plushy.
 
Happy Dinovember (Dino + November)!
 
While supplies last. Limit one per child. 
 
For kids 12 and younger. Caregivers are welcome to assist children with clue solving. Children must be present to receive a dino chicken nugget plushy.

Cafe Study Sesh
Monday: Nov. 13th, 6:00PM-7:30PM

Calling all teens in need of caffeine and a study space!
 
Bring your friends to the Library and enjoy some lo-fi music, a virtual crackling fire, lattes, and pastries for all your cozy cafe needs.
 
Take study breaks at our de-stressor station equipped with fidgets and other calming activities. Basic study materials and charging outlets will be provided. Ask our Teen Library staff for assistance in using our free research and study databases. 
 
No registration required. Ages 13-18, come cram with us!
Teen Tuesdays:
Fall Lanterns & Caramel Apples
Tuesday: Nov. 14th, 6:00PM-7:30PM

Let's keep the Autumn vibes going by making some Fall Lanterns! This craft will include a glass jar, pressed leaves, and a tealight candle to add a warm glow to your space. Snack at our caramel apple bar with plenty of toppings.

Teens Friendsgiving
Tuesday: Nov. 21st, 6:00PM-7:30PM

Bring a snack, a friend, and your good vibes to our Teens Friendsgiving! Come play board games with us, have some pumpkin pie and cider, and watch the latest Kansas City Chiefs vs. Philadelphia Eagles game. Teens are welcome but not required to bring packaged snacks to share with the group.

Join us this month for a discussion on Convenience Store Woman by Sayaka Murata. 
 
Convenience Store Woman is the heartwarming and surprising story of thirty-six-year-old Tokyo resident Keiko Furukura. Keiko has never fit in, neither in her family, nor in school, but when at the age of eighteen she begins working at the Hiiromachi branch of “Smile Mart,” she finds peace and purpose in her life.
