Candy Jewelry Making Workshop
Saturday, Feb. 4th at 1:00PM

Kids 4-12 years old, learn the basics of jewelry making-- using candy! Make candy jewelry to give to loved ones, just in time for Valentine's Day. This workshop will be led by jewelry designer Seville Michelle, and all supplies will be provided. While supplies last.

Make Valentine Cards for Seniors
Wednesday, Feb. 1st - Feb. 8th
Children's Room
Kids 12 and younger, stop by the Children's Room to make Valentine's Day cards for seniors. The cards will be given to seniors at the Buena Park Senior Center's Valentines Day party. Help make senior citizens of our community feel loved.
Read to a BARK Therapy Dog

Children's Fiction Area
Come read to our dog pals in the children's fiction area. Readers will receive a time slot with a dog on a first come, first served basis.
 
All participants 2 years of age and older will be required to wear a mask while participating in this program.

Calliope Digital Literary Magazine
Calliope is Buena Park Library District’s Teen Digital Literary Magazine. Inspired by the Greek muse of eloquence and poetry, our magazine aims to amplify creative voices and raise conversations in the community.  
Every quarter, a new theme will be announced and middle and high school students who live in or near Buena Park can submit art, poetry, short stories, and media (books, movies, TV shows, music) reviews related to the theme. Participants will not only have their work published, but will be given service hours as a reward for their work.
