Free Lunch for Kids & Teens Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays July 5th - July 27th 10:45AM-11:30AM Join us every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10:45AM to 11:30AM for free meals for kids and teens under 18. Lunches must be consumed onsite: our front lawn and community room will be available. Free lunches to anyone 18 years or younger. No registration required. Thank you to the Centralia School District for serving lunch at the library! Stop by our craft table on the front lawn and get a free kids craft provided by a Lunch at the Library grant (limit 1 per child, child must be present). Lunch at the Library is a project of the California State Library, supported with funds from the State of California.

Teen Advisory Board (TAB) Are you passionate, creative, and wanting to represent the teens in your community? Join Buena Park Library's Teen Advisory Board! TAB is a group of teen volunteers who help plan, lead, and advise for teen programs here at the Buena Park Library in exchange for community service hours. Members should be 14-18 years old and enrolled in high school. UCCE Master Gardeners: Drought Tolerant Gardening Saturday: July 15th at 11:00AM Zoom Live Meeting This presentation covers gardening in the Southern California Mediterranean climate and UC Master Gardeners of Orange County will provide tips for designing and planning the drought tolerant garden including steps to implement the garden design. Beginning with a definition/description of drought tolerant plants, attendees will learn how to select, plant, water and maintain the right plants to thrive in their gardens.
