Read to a BARK Therapy Dog Tuesday: Jan. 9th at 6:45PM Children's Fiction Area Kids 12 and younger, come read to our dog pals in the children's fiction area. Readers will receive a time slot with a dog on a first come, first served basis. No pre-registration is required. Caregivers must accompany children 10 years of age and younger.

Make a Panda Surprise Tuesday: Jan. 16th - Thursday: Jan. 18th all day while supplies last Children's Room Kids 12 and younger, kick off our Panda Express challenge by making a panda surprise to gift to someone (or keep for yourself!). Fill a plastic egg with candy, decorate the egg to look like a panda, and take your panda surprise home. While supplies last. Limit one per child. No pre-registration is required. Caregivers must accompany children 10 years of age and younger.

Winter Reading Program: Panda Express Challenge Tuesday: Jan. 16th - Saturday: Feb. 24th Kids 12 and younger, participate in the Panda Express challenge. Pick up a reading log at the children's desk, and read 5 books for a free Panda Express cub meal and mini panda figurine. One reader will win a grumpy panda night light. Kids who cannot yet read can be read to/with. Child must be present at time of receiving the award cards at the library. While supplies last. The library thanks Panda Express for generously sponsoring this program.

Teen Winter Reading Challenge Tuesday: Jan. 16th - Saturday: Feb. 24th Teens (ages: 13-18) can read books or listen to audiobooks and write reviews for a chance to win a grand prize! For each finished title, participants will be asked to write a short 1-2 sentence review to earn a badge. 1 badge = 1 entry for a prize. Participants have until February 24th to submit up to 5 reviews. Attend our Cafe Study Sesh and January Teen Tuesday for 2 extra prize entries each! Grand Prize winners will be notified by March 2nd. Participants will have until March 9th to pick up all prizes.
