Children, teens, and adults can pick up a paper reading log or submit an online reading log for a chance to win a gift card. Thanks to our Friends of the Library organizations and Bookmarks for donating gift card prizes this year. Visit Rural Hall Branch Library during the months of June and July to experience some "Out of this World" Weekly Space Trivia. Bring your best guesses to the service desk each week. Teens (ages 12-17) are welcome to search Rural Hall Branch Library for hidden stars during the "Find the Stars" Scavenger Hunt. Space-themed clue sheets can be picked up at the front desk from Monday, July 1-Saturday, July 6. Teens who locate all the stars during the week can turn them in the front desk for a small prize. All Forsyth County Public Libraries will be closed on Thursday, July 4 for Independence Day.

Bright Star Theatre: "One Small Step" Monday, July 8, 11 a.m.-noon Children of all ages can attend this special performance from Bright Star Theatre. During this performance, the audience will learn about the history of flight and space travel.

S.T.E.A.M. Session Second Tuesday, 5-6 p.m. S.T.E.A.M. Sessions allow children (ages 5-11) to develop their skills in S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math). This month, children can use everyday materials to create a Mars rover.

Music and Movement Second Thursday, 11-11:30 a.m. Join us for a fun-filled program for children up to 5 years old and their caregivers. We will have an interactive storytime and use props (shaker eggs, scarves and rhythm sticks) to sing and dance to the music.
