Children and Families
Family Movie Night
Mondays at 5:30 p.m.
Every Monday night in January we will feature a family-friendly movie in the Storytime room. Movies will range from G to PG ratings. No registration required.

Jan. 10 - Abominable (Rated PG)

Jan. 31 - Frozen (Rated PG)
Chess Club
For Ages 7-18
Come join us to play the game of kings. Chess sets will be provided so bring your moves and join either our casual free play tables or our competition table. Short strategy videos will be shown at the beginning of each session. Open to beginners and players with all levels of expertise.

Tween and Teen Advisory Board
For Ages 10-18
Suggest topics and themes for future tween/teen programs, provide feedback on Juvenile and Young Adult materials including fiction, non-fiction, and graphic novels. Earn volunteer time helping out with library events and programs.

Clemmons Cookbook Club
Meets on the third Wednesday of the month at 12:30 p.m.
Choose a recipe from a pre-selected book in the library and we’ll make a copy for you. Bring in the finished dish on the day of the meeting to share with other members. Must bring a dish to attend.

Black History Month 2022: Black Health and Wellness
African American Genealogy
Tuesday Feb. 22 at 6 p.m.
 
African American genealogy can be quite challenging when researching the years before emancipation. Learn about the unique types of records used in African American genealogy and discover research methods to help you find ancestors.

Tuesday Feb. 9 at 1 p.m.
 
Will Smith stars as a neuropathologist who discovers a degenerative brain disease now known as CTE in the autopsies of several deceased pro-football players. After presenting his research, he finds himself under fire from the NFL.

Each week the Clemmons Branch Library presents an all-ages story time on Zoom. Registration is required.
