NOVA: Poisoned Water March 23 at 10 a.m. In honor of Forsyth County Creek Week, the Clemmons Branch Library will present a screening of NOVA: Poisoned Water. When Flint, Michigan changed its water source to save money, it led to disastrous results including widespread lead poisoning and an outbreak of Legionnaires' disease. 54 minutes.

Red Cross Blood Drive
The Clemmons Branch Library and the American Red Cross will host a blood drive in the Red Cross bus on Thursday, April 20th from 2:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Clemmons Cookbook Club Meets on the third Wednesday of the month at 12:30 p.m. Choose a recipe from a pre-selected book in the library and we’ll make a copy for you. Chess Club March 21 and April 18 at 4 p.m. Grade school students, tweens, teens, and their families are invited to play chess once a month at the library. Learn new strategies, face worthy opponents, and participate in tournaments.

Celebration Wednesdays March 8, March 22, April 5, and April 19 at 5 p.m. Learn about obscure holidays, make a craft, and bring a phone or tablet to compete in interactive games.

AARP Tax Aide Wednesdays The AARP will offer free tax assistance on Wednesdays at the Clemmons Branch Library through April 12. Help is by appointment only. To get an appointment, stop by the Clemmons Branch Library and request a tax packet at the front desk.

Triad Americana Jam Sessions March 13, March 27, April 10, April 24 at 6 p.m. Join us in the Clemmons Branch Library auditorium on the second and fourth Mondays of the month at 6 p.m. for Triad Americana Jam Sessions. Players of all abilities are welcome.

Community Resources Referral Services March 16 and April 19 at 2 p.m. Peer support specialist Jose Perez will be at the Clemmons Branch Library once a month to discuss the services he offers, including housing assistance, food & clothing assistance, mental health services, and financial assistance.

Board Game Mania Tuesdays 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Are you an adult who enjoys playing board games? If so, we have just the spot for you in our Board Game Mania program! Adults who love board games are invited to gather in our library conference room to enjoy playing various board games on Tuesdays each week from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
