For December we will be showing a movie about everyone’s favorite Elf and his journey through from the North Pole to New York City to find his father. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket and be prepared for chilly weather. In case of rain, the movie will be moved to our meeting room which is limited to 45 people, first come, first served. MakerLAB: Soap Carving for Youth Monday | December 6 | 6:30 pm Child and parent are invited to learn the art of soap carving together with a special program presented by the Catawba Valley Woodcarvers Club. Participants will learn how to carve a design that celebrates this time of year. Parents must stay with their child during this program and are invited to participate in carving. Ages 7 and up.
