CIRCULATION REMINDERS
  • Where do I return my mobile hotspot?
    At the 3rd floor IT Desk.
    MOBILE HOTSPOTS MAY NOT BE RETURNED IN ANY BOOK DROP! Overdue Mobile Hotspots will have their service turned off promptly.
     
  • Where do I return museum passes?
    Only at the 2nd floor Adult Services Desk.

     
  • Where do I return all other items?
    Return at Book Drops, our "WINDOW" and the CIRCULATION DESK.

    Please look for the "OPEN" and "CLOSED" signs on the book drop. The "window" is located next to the main entrance. Checking out on your visit? Best to return your materials directly to the Window or the Circulation Desk. BOOK DROPS AT: Wesley Hills Town Hall, Eugene Levy Memorial Park & Hillcrest Shopping Plaza are now open DAILY. 
     
  • What if the book drop is full?
    Please hold on to your materials and return again another time.

    DO NOT LEAVE ANY LIBRARY MATERIALS OUTSIDE THE DROP BOXES. Any material that is stolen or damaged by the elements because they were left outside a drop box will be charged to the borrowing patron.
     
  • When will the item come off my account?  
    As quickly as possible.
    WE ARE NO LONGER QUARANTINING RETURNED MATERIALS!

     
  • Will I be charged fines if the item is overdue?
    Fines will resume for all adult materials starting September 1.

    Juvenile and YA material will continue to be fine free. FINE FREE DOES NOT MEAN HOLDING ON TO ITEMS UNTIL FEES RESUME. Please return your materials in a timely fashion so other library patrons may enjoy them.  If an item is overdue 50 days after the latest check out date, the item will automatically be  changed to LOST.  If fines are over $10, your account will be blocked, you will not be able to place new holds or download materials.

YOUTH SERVICES NEWS
The Great Giveback:
 
This year, our Teen Advisory Board has decided to collect
school supplies that will once again benefit our ESL students
and their families. The donation bin will be placed in the Children's room from October 16 through November 1.
Patrons can drop off new school supplies such as notebooks,
pens, pencils, erasers, water bottles, lunchboxes,
backpacks, or other school supplies.
 
 
Fall Virtual Programs for Kids:
 
 Reading Circle
Tuesdays & Thursdays (10/19-
12/9), from 4-5 pm
Reading Circle is an interactive Zoom program. School-age children will read with a teen volunteer. The volunteer will read to the children, but will also ask for volunteers to sound out words, read a sentence or a page, and more.
Register once and receive the link for each drop-in session.

Join us for a fall, fun filled storytime with music and more for ages 2-4 (baby siblings welcome). Pick up books to read-along, and craft/activity materials for each week, the Monday prior to each session. Then “Zoom” into storytime!

Have you ever wanted to make a 3D printed item
but didn’t know where to start? Learn how to make a simple, custom keychain using Tinkercad, a free web-based design tool. We’ll meet live over Zoom
so you’ll be able to follow along at home and ask questions if you get stuck. Your submitted projects will be printed using the library’s own 3D printers. We’ll let you know when it’s ready for pickup!

The Insiders Club
 
Formerly called the Homebound Service, this club is an attempt
to reach patrons who cannot visit the library due to age or disability. 
 
Staff curate a personalized list of books for enrolled patrons,
based on their tastes and interests.
Books, DVDs, and CDs are delivered every other week. 

If you know of anyone who may qualify for the program,

Fournier has worked as a staff photographer for The Rockland Journal-News, The Bergen Record, about…time magazine, and freelanced for The New York Post.

Michael's Legacy: Transcending Life & Death

This is the true story of Michael Bovill, a twenty-three-year-old active duty member of the United States Coast Guard, who died in a motorcycle accident. Michael’s heart, lungs, liver and kidneys were donated to five recipients. This is the story of how Michael lives on, not only in the recipient’s lives, but in those that Michael’s story has touched. Through the stories of the organ recipients, Michael’s family and friends, faith leaders, and medical experts, Michael’s Legacy explores the world of organ transplantation, and how one man’s final act of heroism left a lifelong and overwhelmingly positive impact. Virtual Defensive Driving
Thursday, October 18 & 25;  5:45 - 8:45 P.M.
 
This course is online via Zoom ONLY. Completion of this course helps those who attend become better, safer drivers and could help in reduction of violation points on your license and a discount on automobile insurance as per New York guidelines. The Class will be held in two sessions of 3 hours each. By registering for either day, you will automatically be signed up for both classes.  You will need to attend both sessions to complete the class.
