September 11th Exhibition - 20 year commemoration
We are honored to commemorate the 20th anniversary of 9/11 with an exhibition in our gallery on the lower level of the main library. September 11, 2001: The Day That Changed the World is an educational exhibition presenting the history of 9/11, its origins and ongoing implications. It explores the consequences of terrorism on individual lives and communities at the local, national, and international levels and encourages critical thinking about the legacies of 9/11.

Join us for Anniversary in the Schools webinar from the 9/11 Memorial & Museum in our community room. Learn about the history of 9/11 through personal stories from 9/11 family members and first responders. No registration is necessary.

Inspired by a real story, a determined high school senior strives to be a wrestler one last time despite having cerebral palsy and goes to extreme lengths, crushing obstacles and inspiring others along his journey to prove his abilities.

Blood Drive - In honor of lives lost

Thursday, September 30, 4:30 - 6 pm.

In person at the main library! For grades 3-6. Discover the story of Bird Woman, the teenaged girl who helped blaze a trail across the country. Book Talk! Art activities! Make your own trail mix! Register to receive your free copy of Sacagawea's biography. Registration is open now for everyone.
