"Based on Fredrik Backman’s best-selling A Man Called Ove, this surprising character-driven story allows the movie to be awkwardly funny overall with hard-hitting moments scattered throughout. Tom Hanks brings the title character to life, perfectly capturing the iconic, crabby protagonist. A Man Called Otto pushes the viewer to be swept away in the unforgettable and unique story."
