"The newest installment in DC Comics' action-packed blockbusters is a wild ride from start to finish. Dwayne Johnson is perfect in his role of the anti-hero/reluctant good guy; he manages to bring just enough humor and heart to his character to keep from losing the character's well-known dark edge.  The special effects are brilliant, making the many battles between the main character and the supporting cast captivating to watch.  Black Adam is a brilliant combination of action, story development, and unique characters that never lags for a full-blown superhero origin story."
