Check out our Latest YouTube Videos!!! BASICS OF BIRD IDENTIFICATION
A program for those who enjoy watching birds and want to know more about them. Presenter Jim Van Gelder of the Orange County Audubon Society will cover the basics of bird identification along with suggestions for equipment and good local birding spots. Laugh Your Stress Away What do Dr. Norman Cousins, Dr. Patch Adams and Dr. Laurence J Peter have in common? They all believe in the healing power of ‘LAUGHTER “, to increase endorphins, reduce stress, strengthen immune system, moderate pain and exercise the lungs. Dr. Patch Adams, dressed as a clown in his medical practice, included LAUGHTER as an essential part of his medical treatment. Dr. Norman Cousins, former Editor of The Saturday Review, recovered from a life-threatening tissue disease, using LAUGHTER to relieve pain and strengthen his immune system. Dr. Laurence J Peter, author of The Laughter Prescription, states that LAUGHTER stimulates the brain to produce its own painkillers. In this program, you’ll learn the physiological and psychological benefits of laughter The videos are available on our website, Facebook page, YouTube Channel or you can click HERE to watch Basics of Bird Identification and HERE to watch Laugh your Stress Away
