The Livingston Manor Library Repair Café needs skilled volunteers who enjoy sharing their knowledge with neighbors. Repair Cafés offer a solution to our throw-away economy with the help of repair experts who can restore items that would otherwise be treated as waste. INTRODUCING MANGO LANGUAGES

AND SAYING FAREWELL TO ROSETTA STONE


Mango is a new language learning resource that is made available for FREE through the library. There are lessons in dozens of languages, taught through adaptive learning software, which allows Mango to accomodate every users' unique learning style. All you will need is your library card and an email address.

THE LIBRARY AT THE FARMERS MARKET


The library will be at the Livingston Manor Farmers Market this year, which begins Sunday, May 28. Visit the library's table to get your questions answered, learn what's happening at the library, get a library card, and check out a book right from the market stand. We'll also be reading our favorite picture books to young market visitors. We hope to see you there!

This three-part parenting series, offered by Sullivan 180, aims to uplift and empower parents with tools and knowledge that is vitally important to developing young minds.


New and expectant parents, as well as any family members or caregivers, will be able to learn tips, tricks, and techniques to maximize healthy brain growth in children up to the age of three. 


Each part of this series will include refreshments and recipes, which can be made at home as healthy and nutritious "brain food" for kids. 


Attendance at all three is not required.

NYS OCFS Health & Safety Certified Trainer and AHA First Aid & CPR, AED Certified Instructor, Mrs. Lee A. Brown, will teach a two-part course on how to administer first aid and CPR. Those who complete the course can become certified in these potentially life-saving skills. 


All course materials and instruction will be provided for $40 per person. This reduced fee is made possible by the library.
