6 weeks.

Get 6 weeks of tulip bouquets grown in Gardiner at Alchemy Farmhouse as part of their winter tulip project. This is their first season with this process and they are hoping to share Darwin, Triumph, Double and Parrot-style blooms. Various colors and varieties will be featured throughout the season. Enjoy flowers for yourself all winter long or gift them to someone you love to brighten their winter. Pick-up will be Wednesdays in Gardiner at Alchemy Farmhouse or New Paltz at Lagusta’s Café.

Small group guitar lessons with Amy Laber (Gardiner Library’s “Miss Amy”). Beginner guitar lessons for young children with a gentle, playful approach. We will learn the parts of a guitar, and explore basic musical concepts such as beat, rhythm and pitch. Students will approach learning individual notes on the guitar and simple chords.

Continuation of Guitar 1 with Miss Amy. Beginner students 5-8 years old will explore fundamental elements of learning how to play guitar. We will continue to learn individual notes, simple chords, and approach strumming with familiar songs. The focus of this series is to get young children interested and excited about learning to play guitar and to prepare for private lessons as they grow.

This game is for anyone who loves fantasy and problem solving! Jillian, a junior at SUNY NP will be your Dungeon Master. Jillian has been playing D&D since middle school and enjoys sharing her love for the game with intrepid players.

Community Reiki: Individual Reiki Sessions
Meets first Sundays
12 - 2 PM
20 minute sessions.
First come, first served.
COVID protocols followed.

Reiki is both the energy of the universe and the Japanese system of sharing this energy with others. Recipients sit in a chair or lie on a comfortable table, clothed, while the practitioner lightly places hands on or above the recipient. The effect is of peace and deep rest for the recipient.

H.V. Community Reiki practitioners possess multiple certifications that can include Reiki I and II as well as Master level certifications in various styles including Usui/Tibetan, Komyo, Karuna, and Animal Reiki. HV Community Reiki has been providing Reiki sessions at the Gardiner Library since 2017.

Paul Bracey is a photographer from north east Pennsylvania who began taking pictures as an offshoot of his interest in drawing and painting.

An avid outdoor adventurer, he has long pursued rock climbing, ice climbing and mountaineering, traveling to many destinations which have provided amazing opportunities for interesting and expressive photographic images.

Today, he makes use of a wide range of equipment and techniques and uses social media to share his work with a broader audience. His goal is to share the beauty of nature and art through engaging images, real or imagined, in the hope of showing viewer’s a new way of seeing things.
