Travel Snaps: Through Their Eyes! Photography Show Photographs by Silke Trester Through August 31 Silke makes connections with locals by capturing their spirit in travel snaps. Framed on upcycled construction materials, Silke illustrates further that the fellow humans she captured in front of her lens as well as the places she's been are raw, flawed, rough, inspiring and beautiful just as life itself. This show includes photos from India, Cambodia, Mongolia, Russia, Turkey, Nepal, Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, Egypt, the Philippines, and South Korea.

Hand sew as a form of meditation, relaxation and socialization. Bring a portable project (knitting, crochet, etc...) and enjoy some "me" time while artfully stitching a favorite project. Birding Walks with Minnewaska Park Educator Nick Martin 8 - 9:30 AM Meet at the Gardiner Library lower parking area. Although bird-centered Nick will take time to explore and identify trees, flowers, rocks and other kinds of animals. Take an approximately one-mile walk on the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail and wander through Majestic Park. Participants are encouraged to wear waterproof boots or shoes, bring binoculars, a birding field guide or a smart device with a field guide installed.
