New York State Internet Access Survey has been released to gather information about barriers and challenges to internet access and digital equity throughout New York State. The survey responses will be used to guide decisions to ensure access to high-quality and affordable internet service, devices, skills training, and digital support are available to all residents. The survey will close on June 30th. We ask you to encourage your patrons to complete the Survey. Survey participants input will be anonymous. The online survey is available in 12 languages: Arabic, Bengali, Chinese (Simplified), French, Haitian Creole, Italian, Korean, Polish, Russian, Spanish, Urdu, and Yiddish. FINKELSTEIN MEMORIAL LIBRARY CITIZEN PREPAREDNESS EVENT Presented by: American Red Cross Sunday, June 11, 2023 1:00 - 5:00 PM 24 Chestnut Street, Spring Valley 10977 “Prepare the Village” is an important program dedicated to the local neighborhood and all are welcome to attend. The event will assist community members to Prepare, Respond and Recover when disasters or emergencies strike. There will be presentations in English, Spanish and Creole.
