Roscoe Free Library Publishes a Cookbook
The Roscoe Free Library launched a cookbook titled Stirring Up Memories in Trout Town USA. It's a combination of history, photographs, and 200 recipes. According to Dr. Joyce Conroy, the inspiration for this story "started when I was given pieces of a 110+ year old cookbook that had been published in Roscoe.  I marveled at the ingredients such as 'butter the size of a hen's egg, a handful of flour & a teacup of sugar." I thought it would be fun to combine history and cooking." The cookbooks are on sale at Roscoe Free Library for $20 each.
