KOHA ILS: FEATURE HIGHLIGHT

There are many things to be excited about when it comes to our Koha migration—but today we'd like to look at just one. Koha's Cart feature is designed to streamline our reference and circulation workflows and enhance the overall user experience. Add any items or titles from a catalog search into your cart with a simple click. Once you've assembled your cart, you have a list of useful options. You can email this cart to a colleague or patron. You can print your cart, choosing between a Detailed or a Brief Display mode. You can add the cart to a permanent list. You can even place every title in the cart on hold for a patron at once!

Welcome our new
RCLS Staff Member!

We are excited to announce that
Michelle Muller has joined the RCLS team
as our new
Member and Youth Services Consultant
Contact her at michelle.muller@rcls.org

Michelle comes to us from Goshen Public Library, where she most recently filled the role of Assistant Director/Head of Youth Services.  Her service there spanned 20 years, prior to which she worked as a librarian at Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh.  Michelle will be working closely with Joanna Goldfarb and Meghan Doyle during the next several months as she embraces her new role at RCLS.

Michelle shared the following thoughts: "Professionally, I look forward to creating connections and helping the entire library community take on new challenges.  On a personal note, I have been known to rescue kittens, bunnies and other creatures who find their way to library parking lots, window wells or offices."

Drop her an email and say hello...
