RCLS Celebrates at the
NYLA Conference in Syracuse!
 
RCLS Staff hosted a "Soiree" at the NYLA 2024 Conference - an evening of camaraderie and laughter!

raffle to benefit the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund
  
At the event, RCLS staff were pleased to be presented with a plaque by SLI representatives in recognition of RCLS achieving Sustainable Library Certification! 
Thanks go out to all who joined us at this fun event!  
We look forward to seeing everyone at next year's conference...

One grand prize winner will win $500 and have the opportunity to
have their winning entry exhibited in one of the Library's midtown locations.
20 honorable mentions will receive $250 each.
All winners will be published in a special edition of NYPL’s Teen Voices magazine available online and in print, while supplies last, at select NYPL locations

RCLS Sustainability Presentation (online)

RCLS recently became the third library system in the nation to become certified as sustainable by the Sustainable Libraries Initiative! Member library staff and trustees are invited to this virtual presentation to learn more about what RCLS staff did to become a more sustainable and earn certification. This session will be recorded.
NOTE: This presentation does not meet the NYS Library continuing education requirements and is therefore not eligible for credit.
