Lookin' sharp at  HKDPL!

A newly designed logo has
been unveiled by
Haverstraw King's Daughters
Public Library

The design incorporates a great deal of symbolism: the crown is a nod to their name,
but also looks like the mountains that surround the area and evokes the library as building;
the horizontal line at the bottom is for the
Hudson River; the color Brick Red is for the history of Haverstraw as a brick-making
capital of the world.

Along with their new logo, they've carried their Spring renewal online with
an updated website:

 Gardiner Library
Native Plant Sale
Saturday, May 21, 12 - 4 PM

The Gardiner Library and the Wallkill Valley Pollinator Pathway are hosting a native plant sale to complement the library’s new pollinator garden.
The small plants, called landscape plugs, are much less expensive than container plants and an excellent way to keep costs down while trying out
some new plants.
Master gardeners will be available to answer questions. Come to their
first sale (cash and check only)
and start planting!
