About the Author: Stephanie Land is the author of the New York Times bestseller Maid: Hard Work, Low Pay, and a Mother’s Will to Survive, called “a testimony…worth listening to,” by The New York Times and inspiration for the Netflix series "Maid." Her writing focuses on social and economic justice and parenting under the poverty line.

During this live, interactive workshop learn about the current types of interviews and how best to prepare yourself for them. We will review commonly asked questions and how you can respond to them as well as discuss questions you should bring.

Every Tuesday, teens ages 12+ are invited to play our Nintendo Switch in the YA Room! We'll have enough controllers for 8 players at a time. Challenge your friends to a Mario Kart race, try out new games, and meet fellow gamers!
This program is for teens only; we have a separate game time for players under the age of 12.
Curious about learning how to play? Know how it works but looking for other players? All are welcome! Bring your own decks to use if you have them, or if you don't have any cards - that's OK - Forbes will provide cards to use at the library!

Baby Storytime: Tuesday, December 12, 10-11am. Join us for stories, songs, and puppets. We'll do a 20-minute storytime together, then put out toys for free play and social time. For babies under 18 months and their caregivers.
