The first of our three-part monthly series is to break down myths and facts concerning hospice care, so you can make thoughtful decisions if ever faced with the question, “Should we consider hospice services?” There will be time for Q&A.

In this webinar, Tiffany (aka "The Budgetnista") will introduce these important building blocks, including advice on: the ins and outs of budgeting, investing, credit rating, estate planning, getting insurance, and getting the flow of our money automated.
The Coolidge Standing Committee will hold our brief annual meeting followed by a screening of the recently completed documentary about Calvin Coolidge directed by Stan Sherer. Following the screening, the director will discuss the film and answer questions. The evening will wrap up with live period music including the 1924 campaign song, "Stay Cool with Coolidge". Refreshments will be served by the Friends of Forbes Library.
Every Tuesday, teens ages 12+ are invited to play our Nintendo Switch in the YA Room! We'll have enough controllers for 8 players at a time. Challenge your friends to a Mario Kart race, try out new games, and meet fellow gamers!
This program is for teens only; kids ages 7-12 can join us for Kids' Gaming Club on November 10.
Join folks from Amherst College's Beneski Museum of Natural History to learn about the kind of dinosaurs that once roamed Northampton and the trace fossils they left behind. Then join us as we use plaster to recreate the track-making process! Ages 3+.
Join us for stories, songs, and puppets! We'll do a 20-minute storytime together, then we'll put out toys for free play and social time until 11. For babies under 18 months and their caregivers.
We also have Preschool Storytime (ages 3-5) on Thursday, November 9 at 10:30 am.
Sing songs and read books in English and Spanish! This event is best suited for children ages 1.5-3. We will meet on the library lawn. In the event of inclement weather, we will meet in the Community room.

Calling all young adventurers! We'll be hosting Dungeons & Dragons campaigns every other Thursday at 3:45. D&D is a great way for kids to practice collaboration, strategy, and storytelling, and we welcome participants of all experience levels. This program is for kids ages 9+, and is limited to six participants per session.

Join us for a library road trip! Stop by the Main Desk or Children's Desk to pick up your road trip map and receive your stamp. Then, visit as many participating Western MA libraries as you'd like--you can explore a few or all! Participating libraries will stamp your map (and may even have cool prizes).
Please note: the library will be closed on Saturday, November 11 for Veterans Day. Access to thousands of e-books and e-audiobooks as well as powerful research databases are always available through our website.
