The BPL Youth Services department will again sponsor their annual Valentines for Veterans program! We invite children and adults to make Valentine cards for veterans. All Valentine cards will be delivered to veterans who have served our country and are currently hospitalized at Hines Veterans Hospital in Hines, IL and Jessie Brown Hospital in Chicago. Art and card supplies will be available at the Youth Services desk to create cards while visiting the library. Everyone is also welcome to bring in cards made at home from personal craft materials (please do not glue anything onto the card that may break off easily, and glitter is discouraged). Please turn in all cards to the Youth Services desk. Envelopes for cards are not required.
