Greetings from Laura!
February has been a cold month, weather-wise, but inside the library, the Valentine's Day season has been a warm time of the year. Lots of great books and media to cozy up with.

Mythology Madness Trivia: Rick Riordan Style

Kids Carry & Craft: Mosaic Kite Edition 
Saturday, March 27. 10-10:30 am. Celebrate the spring with a kite-shaped sun-catcher to hang in your window. Virtual kids' program. Please register.
 
Teen/Adult Carry & Craft: Rock Painting Edition
Saturday, March 27. 11-11:30 am. Learn two methods of painting rocks. See how to use dots to paint your rock or a marbling effect. Please register.

Evaluating Online Health Information – Register
This workshop will assist participants with evaluating health information they find online. It will teach them what questions to ask when evaluating an online source. This includes looking for signs of trustworthiness and signs of non-authoritative and potentially harmful information.
 
Tuesday, March 9. 6 pm to 7 pm.
MedlinePlus for Online Health Information – Register
In this workshop, participants will learn what type of health information is available in MedlinePlus, and how to navigate it to find the information that they need. MedlinePlus is an authoritative source for health information produced by the National Library of Medicine.
 
Saturday, March 13. 11 am to 12 pm.
Health Information in the News – Register
This workshop will teach participants to look beyond sensational news headlines. It will teach them strategies to recognize a potentially poor study or overinflated reporting of results by a news source.
