Magical Moonshine Theatre presents The Three Little Pigs who set out to seek their fortunes with a bit of house building. Things don't go as planned in this creative retelling of the traditional story. Have some paper and markers or crayons on hand so that you can help the pigs throughout the story with some drawings of your own!

A primary mission of Berkeley Public Library is to champion racial and social equity. Berkeley Public Library staff are collectively outraged and heartbroken by the recent murders of George Floyd,Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, Rayshard Brooks and the continued systemic, institutional, and interpersonal racism that plagues our communities.
The Library will continue to work hard on collection development, programming initiatives and policy reforms to support, reflect and serve our diverse Berkeley community.

Many Library staff are still serving as Disaster Service Workers or in the Emergency Operations Center for the City of Berkeley's response to Covid19.
Recently one of our staff members, Gaby, shared this lovely message and sent photos from her assignment:
"I just got back from my duties today. It went very well. While delivering food to the seniors I delivered to a library patron. She said hello to everyone at North and she says to make sure we are safe. She appreciates the hard work we continue to do. It felt nice to hear that."
Library staff member, Eric, can be seen seated at a table. Eric was trained to be medical scribe to facilitate the City of Berkeley's Covid19 testing initiatives.
Thanks for the Love!
"We Love the Library"
This sweet sidewalk message in chalk greeted staff last month when we reopened the book drops. These little acts of kindness mean so much to us. Thank you!
We love seeing your smiling eyes!
Patron Catherine Love was one of the first to pick up her holds. Her glee is clear (and we feel the same way!)
