In July, we received fishing equipment to make our status as a Tackle Share Location official! No Library account is required to borrow a rod and tackle box. Suggested borrowing time is 7 days..

Children's Story Time continues at 10:15am in-house during August with GPL volunteer, Ms. Sue (shown above), summer reading program coordinator, Ms. Ali, and child and youth services librarian, Ms. Jen.

Seeking Artists!
Program Spotlight: Mini Makers!
Throughout July, kids were tasked with building and artistic challenges involving technology.
See photos below of mechanical arms made out of straws and connectors (Strawbees), an Osobot reading code, and a painting made out of remote-controlled Spheros and a homemade light-up LED birthday card!
Patron Spotlight
Hartley has been a regular at GPL for the past year. She is a big talker who loves to explore computers, books, Lite-Brite, puzzles and the whiteboard and to participate in Story Time. Her specialty is singing spontaneously at a high volume:)
