I am happy to announce that we are expanding our inside service at the pocket library located at 30 North Main Street. You no longer need to make an appointment to come in and browse our collection. Masks are recommended but no longer required. A Chromebook will be available for use at our one table. Because the space is small we ask that all visitors remain no longer than 30 minutes. For technology assistance or notary service we ask that you call before coming in to make sure staff is available to assist you.
Children are welcome to come into the library to choose books or pick up a craft kit. We ask that a parent or guardian accompany any child under 8 years of age. Sadly, until the new library is completed, there is no place to sit and read or share a book. Find us making STEAM crafts outside at Art in the Park Day. Look for outdoor storytimes beginning in May and continuing throughout the summer.
My staff is working to provide the best library service they can in our pocket library. If you enjoyed our curbside service you may continue to call or email to request books (or place a hold via our catalog or LMxPress app). We are happy to get items for you, either from our collection or from another library. We will let you know when items are ready for pickup and will even bring them out to your car!
We hope you will stop in the library. Seeing and serving the community is the best part of our job!
