As the weather turns colder it’s time to stay inside and curl up with a good book. That applies to all ages. Now, instead of our Outdoor Storytimes, the library is offering Storytime-To-Go kits. Each kit will contain a Wonderbook, (a Read-along picture book), similar themed picture book(s) and a craft. We hope parents and caregivers will find these kits useful for keeping little ones entertained while inside. To see what's new this fall for teens and adults, read or subscribe to our newsletters.
Construction on the new library is continuing as scheduled. In October the foundation was completed, below ground utilities were installed, and the concrete slab was poured. Site work continues with curbing and storm drains. Framing will begin soon and continue throughout November.
