The Miracle of Flexibility : A Head-to-Toe Program to Increase Strength, Improve Mobility, and Become Pain Free
by Miranda Esmonde-White

For decades, former ballerina and New York Times bestselling author of Aging Backwards, Miranda Esmonde-White, has been developing a solution to the chronic pain produced by a lifetime of injuries and ageing, leaving her as spry later in life as most of us would dream to be in our twenties. The secret to mobility, strength, flexibility, good posture, and peak fitness is a daily Essentrics workout. Miranda’s revolutionary technique is paving the way to create younger, stronger more mobile bodies without injury or pain. This trailblazing program rooted in science has delivered world champions and Olympic medalists by preventing injuries and healing pain. Now, for the first time, it is available in book form. The Miracle of Flexibility offers a blueprint for using this revolutionary range-of-motion-strengthening technique in your own home. With no equipment required, this method has been successfully taught around the world by thousands of certified instructors. It builds strength, increases range of motion, and assists in recovering from chronic pain and injuries.
Love & Lemons Simple Feel-Good Food
by Jeanine Donofrio

In Love & Lemons: Simple Feel-Good Food, each chapter—Breakfast, Salads, Soups, Dinner, and Dessert—is divided into two parts: one for recipes made with minimal prep and ingredients ("at the ready"), and the second for food prepared ahead of time ("in advance"), whether that be components or full dishes destined for the freezer. Here, morning meals can be met with quick-to-assemble Spiced Chickpea Waffles or Skillet Granola while pre-made pancake dry mix ensures a fluffy stack is just minutes away. Rainbow Blender Soups turn one base into four colorful bowls while Tortellini Soup with Lemon Peel Broth offers an elegant, no-waste trick. Quick, meatless mains include Spring Pea Fritters with Whipped Feta, Chickpea Cacio e Pepe, and a range of sheet pan dinners such as Eggplant Sheet Pan Shawarma, while two different homemade veggie burgers (White Bean Swiss Chard and Sweet Potato Paneer) require some forethought but store brilliantly.  Moreover, eight no-waste meal plans (what Jeanine calls 3-in-1 recipes -- three dinner dishes made with one whole vegetable) further provide kitchen ease without sacrificing flair or freshness.  And, as with her previous books, scattered throughout are Jeanine's signature flow charts, offering visual guides to reusing, mixing, and matching ingredients to create fresh, must-eat dishes for grain bowls, lasagnas, tacos, and more.
Cristy's Kitchen : More Than 130 Scrumptious and Nourishing Recipes Without Gluten, Dairy, or Processed Sugars
by Cristina Kisner

The food at Cristy’s Kitchen is gluten-free, dairy-free, organic, nourishing, and thoroughly tasty. Back in Peru, Cristy had developed her recipes after two of her daughters experienced medical issues ranging from allergic rhinitis to digestive problems to an autoimmune disease. They switched to organic ingredients; removed dairy, gluten, and processed foods from their diets; and got each diagnosis under control. Her daughters’ special packed lunches gained the attention of other parents, and Cristy started teaching classes on healthy food prep, which evolved into the dream of having her own bakery and café serving sweet and savory baked goods, prepared foods, and more, many inspired by favorite ingredients from her native Peru. Cristy provides helpful health information and sources on the more unusual ingredients in the book, including those she’s refined into her celebrated gluten-free baked goods. The delicious and healthful recipes in this book include favorites for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and desserts.

Milk Street Noodles: Secrets to the World's Best Noodles
by Christopher Kimball

Nearly every culture serves some sort of noodle, from fettuccine, ramen and spaetzle, to lo mein, gnocchi and udon. So we traveled the world to learn the secrets to the best pad Thai, Italian ragu, spicy North African couscous and buttery Turkish noodles flecked with feta.
  • In Italy, we were taught the real fettuccine Alfredo—so much lighter, simpler and more satisfying than what we knew.
  • In Sapporo, Japan, we learned how to develop the deep umami flavors of miso ramen with minimal time and effort.
  • And from Ho Chi Minh City to Lima, we learned the art of the quick noodle stir-fry, from Vietnamese shrimp noodles to Peruvian chicken and pasta
The world of noodles also includes cool salads, steaming soups, plump dumplings and bowls of well-sauced shapes of all kind. Noodles are a perfect canvas for spring and summer vegetables, as well as hearty wintertime baked casseroles. And if speed is your need, try hoisin-ginger noodles or our cheesy one-pan cacio e pepe, both ready in 20 minutes. We include guides to using the noodles you have on hand, and show how to make classic noodles from scratch—from homemade udon and hand-cut wheat noodles to fresh egg pasta, orecchiette and potato gnocchi.

A Year in the Edible Garden : A Month-by-Month to Growing and Harvesting Vegetables, Herbs, and Edible Flowers
by Sarah Raven

International gardening and cooking expert Sarah Raven shares her wealth of knowledge about how to have a bountiful—and beautiful—kitchen garden. With the belief that we should all grow more of what we eat, she imparts her experience on making the most of any outdoor space along with sage advice about the best things to grow and harvest easily and efficiently along with their culinary uses. The varieties highlighted are accessible, but Sarah also includes many flavorful heirlooms as well as rarities difficult to find in markets. Being connected to the food on our plate and to the landscape around us has never been more important, and everything Sarah does is strictly organic. She focuses on growing the freshest, healthiest, and tastiest produce without resorting to artificial inputs or chemicals. Although the book is primarily focused on edibles, Sarah includes flowers (some edible too) because they attract pollinators and beneficial insects while beautifying the vegetable patch. Solid, practical advice is mixed with inspirational ideas, and aspirational photos of Sarah’s own showstopping garden are sure to inspire any home gardener.
