Poetry Competition
January 31 is the deadline for the 26th annual Express Yourself! Youth Poetry Competition and Cover Art Contest. All 2nd through 12th graders who live or go to school in Dallas are eligible to submit their original work. Finalists will have their work published in a book and be honored at an awards ceremony in April.
In addition, we're looking for the first Youth Poet Laureate of Dallas! Students ages 13 to 18 can apply for the post, which comes with a $1,000 scholarship!
