Join Us For A Program On Solar Eclipses Fri., Nov. 17 7-8:30PM EDT Join us for a program on solar eclipses. Clair Riggs from the Department of Physics & Astrophysics at Rutgers University will be here to inform us and answer any questions about solar eclipses. On April 8, 2024 a total eclipse of the Sun will be visible in the United States. This is a truly rare and once in a lifetime event - the sky will darken and the Sun will be completrely covered by the Moon. All attendees will receive solar eclipse viewing glasses.

The Peapack-Gladstone Woman’s Club is hosting a Thanksgiving Food Drive for the Emanuel Cancer Center for families facing pediatric cancer. The drop off box is in the upstairs lobby of the Library and all donations go to families in Somerset County. The deadline for donations is Sunday, Nov. 12. Thanks.

It is up to our hero, played by Errol Flynn to thwart an evil conspirator played by Claude Rains to set everything right. This is a delightful film starring real-life twins Billy and Bobby Mauch.

It doesn’t matter how many times you’ve seen it, it is timeless.

Read To A Dog
Mon., Nov 20 @ 4:30PM Did you know the library has a monthly program to help children build confidence with reading? With our Read to a Dog program, children from grades 2 and up can practice reading aloud to some very special listeners. Hesitant readers are paired up with certified (and friendly) therapy animals for a fifteen minute reading session. The animals offer children the engagement of an audience without the fear of judgment.
