October's Special Programs
"Fascinating Women History Forgot" with Carol Simon Levin

Carol has become one of our nation's prominent chroniclers of U.S. women's history and leadership. In this lecture-"Mothers of Invention"-she portrays the Montclair NJ mother of 12 and time-and-motion study pioneer Lillian Gilbreth, then shares the stories of other similarly overlooked women innovators.

Women's Forum is a program founded on the aim of fostering cultural and intellectual growth in an atmosphere of enjoyment and camaraderie.  Sources such as films and documentaries, lectures and performances, literature, fine art and history, provide the topic material for discussion at our events.
Before the pandemic situation, events were held at the library bi-weekly with occasional trips to cultural venues.

We are currently operating virtually, still on a bi-weekly basis through Zoom and email - accessing our discussion material online.  Thankfully, this process has worked well, sparking rich conversations among our members and adding to our enrollment new members who have joined us from far and wide.

Our motto and mission of Sharing Wisdom endures, as the Women's Forum enters its fifth year.
