MUSEUM PASS SPOTLIGHT
MORVEN MUSEUM AND GARDEN
55 STOCKTON STREET
PRINCETON, NJ

Many famous people have been able to call the Morven Historic Museum & Garden home; William Penn, Richard Stockton, a signer of the Declaration of Independence, Robert Wood Johnson and five New Jersey governors to name a few. With the relocation of the Governor’s Mansion to Drumthwacket in 1982, Morven was converted into the museum it is today.

Morven boasts five acres of gardens, a collection of fine and decorative arts and a second floor that serves as a changing exhibit space with new shows opening every few months.  The garden layout includes a formal lawn dotted with majestic trees, beds of heirloom annuals from the 18th and 19th centuries, as well as a re-creation of the Colonial Revival style garden that was planted at Morven in the early 20th century.

Today, Morven is home to many engaging events throughout the year; Plein Air Painting in the gardens, hands on workshops and holiday events such as the Festival of Trees displayed throughout the museum’s galleries.

The Library has four free Museum passes and each pass admits one person.  We recommend you visit their website at https://www.morven.org/ or call them at 609-92408144 ext. 103 for more information.  The Museum Passes program is made possible by the generosity of the Friends of the Clarence Dillon Public Library.
