I would like to thank the Town Manager, Michael Gallagher, for proposing the use of the Allen Avenue School for the Friends of RML successful book sale last month. And a thank you goes to Mark Hallowell who, in the previous few years, has allowed them the use of the meeting room in the Water Building on Whiting Street. Allen Avenue School has the space for craft programs for children and room to spread out, as well as parking. Best of all, the sale did not need to be dismantled once it was over.

As the weather gets bad, you can stay at home and enjoy the 7-day passes from RBDigital through our website. Binge a mystery television series such as My Life is Murder featuring Lucy Lawless, or take a Great Course on something like Genealogy. A 7-day pass allows you to choose one of these offerings: Acorn TV, Great Courses, IndieFlix and more. You can borrow more than one pass at a time. Hoopla (Hoopladigital.com) also offers streaming videos of movies and television series. With Hoopla you can borrow 5 items a month after you set up your account with your RML library card.
