The municipal election will be held on Tuesday, April 1. There are two seats on the Library Board of Trustees up in this election. Trustees serve a three-year term; there are six Trustees on the board and two Trustees are elected or re-elected every year. This year only one of the current Trustees is seeking re-election. That leaves a vacancy on the board.
|
After the election the Board of Selectmen will announce the vacancy and request applications from residents who might be interested in serving. The details of where to pick the application up, and when and where to return it will be announced by the Selectmen’s office. If you are interested in serving, please consider this opportunity. -- Frank Ward
