You have probably read that our neighbor, Attleboro, has seen a spike in the number of Covid 19 cases that has led to the closing of all municipal buildings until December 7. This includes the Attleboro Public Library but Attleboro will still be providing service to its residents through curbside pickup. East Bridgewater and Swansea Public Libraries have also closed to the public for a temporary period of time. As of yet, North Attleborough has not had to resort to this. If we do, the staff of the library will endeavor to continue serving the residents through contact-free library work such as Front-Porch Pickup. The trustees and staff of the library wish everyone a happy and safe holiday season.

For the health of all of our patrons and staff, masks or a shield are required for anyone entering the library and they must be worn while you are in the library. However, we know there are people who, for medical reasons, cannot wear masks. For you, we have the following options: We provide Front Porch Pickup of library materials that you have placed on hold. When the items are ready for you, call us with your library card to give us time to check them out. You can come and we will place your items on a cart on the porch, or bring them to your car parked in front of the library. You also can have material printed remotely by sending your items to illna@sailsinc.org, or by using the Mobile Print Option on the RMLonline.org website. The cost is 10 cents a page for black & white, 50 cents for color. Pay the exact amount in cash upon receipt. Don’t know what you want? Call us to tell us what kind of things you like, and we will try to find other books or movies you might enjoy. You can also take advantage of our electronic and streaming services such as OverDrive/Libby, Hoopla and RBDigital.
