Friends of the Lawrence Library Book Sale Friday, September 28, 6:00-8:30pm Preview Night Saturday, September 29, 9:30am-4:30pm through Sunday, October 7 Thousands of used, gently-read books will be available at the Friends of the Lawrence Library Book Sale. A special preview night will be held Friday, September 28. The library will be closed for normal operations during the preview event but you will have the first chance to get some amazing deals. Admission to the Preview Night is free for members of the Friends of the Lawrence Library, $5 for the general public, and $20 for booksellers. Kids Music Round free demo class Friday, September 28, 10:00am A music and movement class for infants, toddlers and preschoolers that includes activities designed to promote musical learning across ages. Activities include playing rhythm instruments, having fun with finger plays, and singing and dancing to music of different meters and tonalities. Registration is required and begins at 7:00am on the day of the program. Those who have not registered may be admitted as space permits.

Big Building Block Free Playtime Wednesdays in September from 12:00pm to 4:00pmFridays in September from 11:00am to 4:00pmBig building block free playtime for preschoolers, with caregiver supervision. Cleanup will begin at 4:00pm. Oversized plastic building blocks will be out in the department for kids to play with, in cooperation with others who are persent. Children may need to take turns. Projects will be taken apart in order for the next interested child to play and create. We have 384 pieces. No registration is needed. Sponsored by the Friends of the Lawrence Library.
