Summer Reading Kick-off Party Saturday, June 22 from 9:30 am - 12 pm The Summer Reading Program is for children, ages 2 to 18. Children, ages 2-11, must register in person in order to participate in the summer reading program. Teens 12 to 18 may register for our online program at www.mcl.org. Our theme this year is “A Universe of Stories.” Children can register at the Kick-Off Party, and enjoy the strolling magic of Mike Dziubas, crafts, and prizes. Come and join the fun!

This family program invites you to work with your teammates to create a craft that satisfies a special mission. And while we may not have Ted Allen, our staff will interview participants about their work and then put the finished products on display in the library. Online registration begins Saturday, June 22.

An Afternoon at the Movies Mary Queen of Scots Thursday, June 6th @ 1:30 Rated R; 124 mins Starring: Saoirse Ronan and Margot Robbie Scottish Queen Mary Stuart becomes a political and romantic rival to her cousin, Queen Elizabeth I, ultimately challenging her claim to the throne. Registration will begin on Monday, June 17: - Little Explorers – children ages 3 to 6, accompanied by an adult, are invited to join us for hands-on science activities. This class will meet on Wednesdays at 11 a.m.
- Storytime - children, ages 2 to 5, will enjoy stories, songs, and crafts. This half hour program will be held on Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m., Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m., or Thursdays at 10:00 a.m.
