Friends of the Lawrence Library Book Sale: Preview Night Friday, January 18, 6:00-8:30pm Thousands of used, gently-read books will be available at the Friends of the Lawrence Library Book Sale. A special preview night will be held Friday, January 18. The library will be closed for normal operations during the preview event but you will have the first chance to get some amazing deals. Admission to the Preview Night is free for members of the Friends of the Lawrence Library, $5 for the general public, and $20 for booksellers. He visited Philadelphia four times and was moved spiritually and emotionally by each visit. Explorations! Fingerprint Dove of Peace & Heart Wednesday, January 23, 6:30pm and Thursday, January 24, 6:30pm For children 4-11 yrs, youngest with a caregiver We'll celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day with an art project poster that we complete together.
Dr. King preached about love and peace. "Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." MLK, Jr.
We'll celebrate his vision by creating a group artistic poster, each of us contributing our fingerprints to make an image whole.
